What does the power button in a Chevrolet Tracker 1999-2004 Suzuki Vitara /?

My Tracker has the power button in the console but when I press it I can not really say there is more power?

It delays the transmission to move the gear. Say the car is moving normally from second to third gear at 2500RPM, it may delay moving from second to third when the engine reaches 3,000 rpm. You will feel a slight increase in power, but also generally lower fuel consumption.
